Directions to the Land
From Phoenix: Take Highway 60 through Globe, Showlow and Springerville and continue east to Quemado. Or, you may choose to go Highway 87 through Payson and proceed on Highway 260 to Show Low, then take Highway 60 to Springerville and east to Quemado. Once you arrive in town, look for the brown and yellow Hitching Post Land Co. sign on the north side of the highway.

From Tucson: Take Highway 77 to Globe and then east on Highway 60 through Showlow and Springerville then continue east to Quemado. Or, you may choose to go east on I-10 to exit 352 (Highway 191), go north to Safford, then east on Highway 70 until you reach the junction of Highway 191. Go north on Highway 191 continuing on to Highway 78 into New Mexico; at the junction of Highways 78 and 180, go north on Highway 180, then go east on Highway 12 through Reserve to Highway 32. Go north to Highway 60, then east towards Quemado. Once you arrive in town, look for the brown and yellow Hitching Post Land Co. on the north side of the highway.

Traveling from New Mexico

Directions to Quemado

From Albuquerque: An easy two and a half-hour drive. Take I-40 west to exit 89 (Stuckey's) and go south on Highway 117 to State Highway 36 then turn left (south) to Highway 60. The Hitching Post Land Co. office is on your left at the intersection of highways 60 and 36.

From Las Cruces: Take Highway 25 north to Socorro then take Highway 60 west to Quemado. The Hitching Post Land Co. office is on your left at the intersection of highways 60 and 36.
